One of my favorite spots for senior photo sessions in the Phoenix area is Lake Pleasant. The lake itself is fun and some girls like to wear a beautiful, flowing dress and dip their toes in the water for their images.

But what I love are the hills and desert scenery. In fact, for sessions at this North Phoenix lake location I always advise seniors to be ready for plenty of walking around on rocky, hilly terrain. But the efforts are always worth it.

I had the privilege of meeting gorgeous Boulder Creek High School senior Quincy recently. I loved her the moment I saw her because one of her outfits was one of my favorite colors to photograph -- mustard yellow. It looks so gorgeous with the desert backdrop.

She rocked her other outfits as well. We had a little wind, but I love the way it adds some personality and action to the images.
