A lot of photographers in the Phoenix area -- and anywhere for that matter -- don't like to disclose their locations, especially when it comes to senior photos. Whether it's a magical, golden field or a secret trove of goodness tucked away from suburbia, we tend to get possessive. But there are some locations that 1) are clearly recognizable, and 2) are just too good to NOT whip out your camera and best lens and have a go at a photo shoot.
Scottsdale Quarter is one such place. If you're a high school senior who likes fun, fashion, and a bit of whimsy, THIS location is for you. As you can see by the photos that follow, there's a little bit of everything. There are stairs. There are a variety of interesting backdrops with different colors and textures. You'll find props already provided among the retailers -- whether it's a fun, yellow bicycle --complete with a basket of flowers, a gumball machine, or the signature fountain/water area where visitors of all ages have been seen cooling off during the brutal summer months.
Here are some of my favorites of Boulder Creek senior Page. Page is on the spiritline and plans to pursue a career in nursing.
